You will provide positive and productive student experiences resulting in the highest obtainable graduation rates, job placement rates and student referrals.

Responsibilities

Providing guidance to adult learners as they progress through selfdirected courses.
Become familiar with the courses yourself you will assist students gain an understanding of course content.
Perform administrative duties such as ordering materials, data entry, generating reports, welcoming visitors, answering telephones, corresponding with various parties, monitoring student attendance, and handing confidential student records.
Create a healthy, safe, and welcoming atmosphere for learners and coworkers.
Proctoring exams.
Coaching adult learners on exam preparation and productive study habits.
Prepare graduates for entering the workforce once they complete their studies.

Qualifications

A University Degree or College Diploma from a recognized Canadian Institution (international qualifications may be considered).
Excellent external and internal customer service.
Willingness to learn new skills.
Passion for education and helping others succeed.
Experience working with adults in an educational environment is an asset.
Experience working in a Private Career College or other educational environment, preferably as a teaching assistant or facilitator is an asset.
