Details:
Full time, Days, 37.5 hours per week, 2-week rotating schedule

Schedule:

Week 1: 6:00AM to 2:00PM Saturday, Sunday; 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Week 2: 6:00AM to 2:00PM Friday, Monday; 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Pay Scale:
$ $23.10 per hour

Location:
Kiwanis Place Lodge, Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T5K 2A6

Typical Duties:

Kitchen duties include:
food preparation, portioning and labeling food, light cooking and baking, cleaning kitchen areas, dining areas, and equipment, dishwashing, preparing meals, beverages, sandwiches, salads, and snacks, peeling and chopping vegetables

Dining Room duties include:

greeting the residents, serving meals and beverages, setting and clearing tables, assisting residents at the buffet table as needed, assisting with meal attendance checks, and other site-specific duties as assigned.

Experience/Education Preferences:

Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal are required
Experience in food preparation is preferred
Experience as a server in a dining room is an asset

Other Requirements:

Strong customer service skills, including the ability to interact with everyone in a respectful manner
Ability to read and follow standard recipes and work in a sanitary manner
Ability to demonstrate responsible judgement in problem solving
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

The successful applicants will be required to undergo a criminal records check and be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Salary:
$18.15-$23.10 per hour
