Position Overview:

Oversee the supply support provided to the CSC and the CSH MOBs, with related responsibilities for monitoring supply activities.


What You Will Do:


  • Act as IMP's point of contact for all MOB matters relating to the CSH Materiel Support requirements;
  • Oversee IMP's CSH Material Support Centre and the management of High Priority Requisitions;
  • Supervise the Supply Management Team to ensure CSH stock holdings meet operational requirements;
  • Generate reports to meet IMP's internal and external materiel support reporting obligations;
  • Oversee the Inventory Forecasting work that will determine optimum CSH stocking levels;
  • Monitor JDE transactions for accuracy and compliance with CSH processes and procedures;
  • Training and orientation of personnel on procedures and processes;
  • Working with Material Coordinators to determine, confirm and action material requirements;[A1]
  • Monitoring the MRP messages / requisitions with the buyers to ensure we are purchasing items on a timely basis to meet the requirements;
  • Monitor performance targets to maintain department key performance indicators;
  • Monitoring inventory levels to maintain fill rates and prevent shortages and overage;
  • Managing company and customer owned assets including inventory and ground support equipment;
  • Act as liaison for material department, schedule and attend meetings;
  • Responsible for the supervision and administrative action pertaining to assigned personnel;
  • Approval of timeoff ensuring staff available to meet requirements
  • Monitoring workload for buyers and coordinators

What You Will Bring:


  • Minimum Grade twelve diploma (university education preferred)
  • SCMP or PLog designation or related work experience;
years' experience in Supply Chain Management

  • Experience in the use of MRP/ERP Systems;
  • Extensive knowledge of SQL (Structural Query Language); Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prepare reports and technical memorandums associated with departmental reporting and communication requirements
  • Effective time and people management skills, excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to work within a deadline driven environment.
  • Require an analytical, selfstarter, task oriented, team player with a positive outlook.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to IMP Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies. Continually focusing on your individual safety and the safety of others who may be affected by your work and to fully comply with all Federal Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Secret Level II Security Clearance through PSPC
  • Contract Security Program, and Transport Canada RAIC clearance.
