About this Opportunity:
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate projects related to volunteer engagement and adult learning
- Manage administration to support the work of the Learning & Engagement team
- Organize the logistics for trainings and support them in real time
- Build strong working relationships and foster collaboration with volunteers and staff teams
- Manage multiple shared inboxes, promptly responding to queries, and delivering a high level of customer service to a variety of stakeholders
- Use digital tools to support registration of training events
- Update and maintain training pages and content on Member Zone (GGC's membership portal)
- Draft copy for communications, including messages to be included in GGC newsletters
- Document processes and make improvements to ways of work
- Support evaluation of ongoing offerings through surveys and data collection
- Occasionally flex time to support initiatives that occur during evenings or weekends
- Other duties as assigned
- Related postsecondary education or equivalent experience.
- 23 years of experience working in office administration, project management, event coordination, or equivalent.
- Comfort with technology and familiarity with Office 365 software (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
- Experience building relationships with multiple and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Interest in volunteer engagement.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and solid time management skills.
- Ability to have good judgement in situations requiring escalation.
- Creativity and critical thinking skills to solve problems and develop new processes.
- A positive attitude, respectful demeanour, and a solutionsoriented approach.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and comfort with ambiguity.
- The ability to take initiative as an individual while collaborating with and contributing to a team.
Assets Include:
- Knowledge of/experience with Guiding
- French language skills/fluency (and/or any other language spoken in Canada)
- Experience working in a nonprofit or volunteer environment
Starting Salary:
$44,060
*Salary based on location, Greater Toronto Area

Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months

$44,060.00 per year
