Position Overview:

Work from Montreal or Toronto within a multidisciplinary team of >25 professionals on a variety of stimulating engagements. Our USA-based clients include leverage lenders, private equity firms, hedge funds, major banks, and national law firms.

Our consulting deals include business and operational assessments, profitability improvement, liquidity management, pre-funding diligence, and the formulation of strategic alternatives.


Our team delivers consulting services involving mid-market USA companies in numerous industries (Retail, Distribution, Services, Manufacturing, Tech, Pharma, etc.) experiencing challenges arising from over-leverage, liquidity problems, under-performance, or other business transitional/operating issues.

A day in the life of a Senior Associate/Vice-President:

  • Work closely with Partners in leading all aspects of the engagement from planning to final report presentation;
  • Lead a strong and motivated team including helping train and mentor staff;
  • Collaborate with client personnel, senior Company management, and other professionals;
  • Oversee the assessment of business plans/outlook, liquidity management, financial projections, and drivers;
  • Prepare reports and other impactful deliverables to clients with a strong commitment to quality;
  • Travel with the deal team to the USA (~20% of the time).

Must haves:


  • CPA, CFA, or similar;
  • 58+ years of relevant experience (transaction advisory, restructuring, FP&A, and/or consulting);
  • Strong modelling and problemsolving skill;
  • Canadian Citizen with the ability to obtain a US work Visa.

What we are looking for:


  • Strong aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analyses and ability to link findings to strategy;
  • Excellent communication skills in english (written and verbal), with strong presentation and organizational skills;
  • Advanced analytical and problemsolving skills (understanding complex business issues, quantitative analysis, workflow processes, etc.);
  • Financial modeling proficiency.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a changing environment and desire to expand skillset;
  • Ability to collaborate with client personnel and other professionals;
  • A positive and energetic attitude;
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fastpaced environment among driven professionals.
