We're looking for a

Marketing Analyst to lead analytical initiatives designed to advance the growth and efficiency of Relay's Marketing function. You will ensure that Marketing leaders have all the information they need to make the best decisions to optimize current acquisition strategies and to build, test, and grow new acquisition strategies. At Relay, we are a hybrid environment and we choose to collaborate in our Toronto office twice a week.


What You'll Be Doing:


  • Collaborate with Relay's marketing leaders to develop and execute on our marketing analytics strategy
  • Propose and leverage analytical solutions and datadriven insights that deliver higher ROIs for our marketing strategies and budget optimization
  • Develop, communicate and present the results of the digital marketing insights to crossfunctional stakeholders
  • Perform in depth analysis to drive fresh insights, and inform business recommendations
  • Own the design and build of marketing analytics data, reports and dashboards
  • Support experimentation initiatives by providing requirements for A/B design and executing success measurement and statistical quantification

Who You Are:


  • You have 12+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics in a fastpaced environment
  • You have a deep understanding of usage based business metrics and measurement for digital marketing effectiveness (SaaS experience is considered an asset)
  • You have advanced SQL programming skills
  • You have experience or familiarity working with lifecycle marketing and Business Intelligence tools (ie. Segment, Iterable, Looker, Tableau, Sisense)
  • You have strong quantitative skills, and an eagerness to learn and use analytical methods and quantitative analysis techniques
  • You have a keen understanding of complex relational data structures
  • You are passionate about using data to storytell and convey complex information into simple, clear and compelling insights that drive action
  • You are a strong communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
  • You have the ability to design solutions under data and time constraints

Bonus Points:


  • You have a certification in data analytics or data science
  • You have B2C experience
  • You have experience with market mix modeling and marketing budget optimization techniques
  • You have experience with high velocity consumer and/or SMB markets; marketing FinTech customer products; consumption and subscriptionbased business models

The Interview Process:


  • Stage 1: A 30minute Google Meets video call with a member of the Talent Team
  • Stage 2: A 45minute Google Meets video call with our VP of Finance and Operations
  • Stage 3: A takehome case study and writing sample on how you would approach an operational problem at Relay, followed by a presentation of your solution to members of the Operations and Marketing team in a 45minute Google Meets video call
  • Stage 4: A 1 hour Google Meets video call with Relay's CEO
