Required OCT Divisional Qualifications:
Intermediate

Required OCT Additional Qualifications:
FSL Part 1

Applications will be considered in the following order:

At least three (3) teachers, who are currently employed as an occasional teacher with the OCDSB, and who have the required OCT qualifications and who best meet the criteria outlined in the job posting
If fewer than three (3) qualified applicants apply, all qualified applicants will be interviewed.

DOT DETAILS:

Designated Occasional Teachers (DOTs) are assigned to specific schools (the "home" school) to fill absences as directed by the school's administration.

In the event there is no assignment for a DOT on a given day at the "home" school, the DOT may be reassigned to another location.

Every effort will be made to reasonably redeploy DOTs within the geographical range of the "home" school location.

DOTs are eligible to claim mileage on a monthly basis for travel when redeployed from one school to another, in accordance with PROCEDURE PR.529.FIN.
