SUMMARY
The JR.

HR Recruiter will be responsible for full cycle, high volume recruitment; including screening, shortlisting, interviewing, reference checks and generating employment agreements.

They will also be responsible for a variety of personnel related administrative tasks, and clerical support to the HR Department.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for full cycle recruitment, including preparing job descriptions, screening applicants, reference checks and creating offer letters
  • Assist with onboarding of new hires
  • Assist with the company roll out of new policies and procedures
  • Assist in the investigation of employment matters brought forth by either employees or managers
  • Maintain employee files
  • Assist with Health & Safety Matters
  • Stay up to date with employment law and best practices in HR
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations
  • Travel between locations as required
  • Other related Human Resource duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education and/or experience_

  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excel, Word and Windows based software. Detailed and organized with ability to work well with mínimal supervision or in a team.
  • Successfully complete a postsecondary certificate or diploma course in: Business Admin, Human Resources or Health and Safety Risk Management
  • Minimum 1 year of full cycle recruitment experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills

  • G Class Drivers License

Salary:
$40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
