Eaton's Electrical sector is currently seeking a Manager, Supply Chain - SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations, Planning) & Projects
to join our team. This position is based at our Burlington, ON facility and offers benefits from Day1.

What you'll do:


In this function you will:


  • Lead the integrated SIOP program for all operations to achieve financial objectives, and lead the monthly SIOP process (integrating forecasts, open orders, capacity and material ordering levels) for a multiproduct business.
  • Set and deploy strategic inventory management strategies, analytics, and policies for your team to:
  • manage inventory control activities,
- effectively support internal customers,
- eliminate excess and obsolete material,
- ensure inventory accuracy,
- analyze and improve material movement, and
- establish efficient and effective inventory locations.
- rate-based material resiliency strategies to meet sales, inventory, and service levels,
- cost-out programs for the business,
- effective supplier management strategies to achieve superior customer service levels while minimizing costs and quality,
- actions to systematically troubleshoot, analyze, identify and eliminate material inhibitors, cycle time detractors, and extraordinary costs associated with material procurement.

  • Demonstrate extensive understanding of laws that affect company purchasing policies, procedures, and decisions.
  • Provide assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving human relations and work performance problems within department that facilitate communication and improve employee skills and work performance

Qualifications:


Required (Basic) Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or a related Technical field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in supply chain, manufacturing environment leading strategic initiatives
  • Specific experience providing leadership to a Supply Chain team.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills imperative to converse with diverse group of stakeholders including senior management, operations, and Supply Chain Management personnel.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.

Preferred qualifications:


  • MBA/Graduate degree in Supply Chain, Business or Finance.
  • APICS or CPIM certification.
  • Electrical industry knowledge with inventory/fleet management experience.
  • Oracle/SAP experience.
  • Experience in leading teams in multiple locations.

Skills:


  • Uses financial, business and operational processes to analyze impact of multiple variables on business outcomes.
  • Uses national and/or global market data for decisionmaking
  • Comprehends how to skillfully build relationships and to negotiate with supplier partners and others
  • Understands SIOP concepts and ability to deploy effectively
  • Demonstrates resiliency through supplier selection, partnerships, and project management skills.
