Eaton's Electrical sector is currently seeking a Manager, Supply Chain - SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations, Planning) & Projects
to join our team. This position is based at our Burlington, ON facility and offers benefits from Day1.

What you'll do:

In this function you will:

Lead the integrated SIOP program for all operations to achieve financial objectives, and lead the monthly SIOP process (integrating forecasts, open orders, capacity and material ordering levels) for a multiproduct business.
Set and deploy strategic inventory management strategies, analytics, and policies for your team to:
manage inventory control activities,

- effectively support internal customers,
- eliminate excess and obsolete material,
- ensure inventory accuracy,
- analyze and improve material movement, and
- establish efficient and effective inventory locations.
- rate-based material resiliency strategies to meet sales, inventory, and service levels,
- cost-out programs for the business,
- effective supplier management strategies to achieve superior customer service levels while minimizing costs and quality,
- actions to systematically troubleshoot, analyze, identify and eliminate material inhibitors, cycle time detractors, and extraordinary costs associated with material procurement.

Demonstrate extensive understanding of laws that affect company purchasing policies, procedures, and decisions.
Provide assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving human relations and work performance problems within department that facilitate communication and improve employee skills and work performance

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or a related Technical field from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 5 years experience in supply chain, manufacturing environment leading strategic initiatives
Specific experience providing leadership to a Supply Chain team.
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills imperative to converse with diverse group of stakeholders including senior management, operations, and Supply Chain Management personnel.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.

Preferred qualifications:

MBA/Graduate degree in Supply Chain, Business or Finance.
APICS or CPIM certification.
Electrical industry knowledge with inventory/fleet management experience.
Oracle/SAP experience.
Experience in leading teams in multiple locations.

Skills:

Uses financial, business and operational processes to analyze impact of multiple variables on business outcomes.
Uses national and/or global market data for decisionmaking
Comprehends how to skillfully build relationships and to negotiate with supplier partners and others
Understands SIOP concepts and ability to deploy effectively
Demonstrates resiliency through supplier selection, partnerships, and project management skills.
