START:
GERDAU'S NEXT GENERATION

Gerdau is seeking university students to participate in our G. Start program. G. Start is a paid internship program with the goal of developing students for future technical and managerial positions. G. Start internships are project-focused and mutually beneficial. G. Start is a program that values the diversity and inclusion of our business and society.


ABOUT THE ROLE:


This position will be a full-time, 16-month long internship opportunity.
The Accounting Intern will provide direct assistance and support to Gerdau users for document creation and program development.

Duties includ documenting routines, reconcilitation of financial infomration, creation of PowerBI reports to faciliate data analysis and dealing with external vendors to improve processes.


PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:


An Intern with Gerdau must have an eagerness to grow personally and professionally, being a part of a global company with more than 120 years of entrepreneurship and achievements in the steel industry.

This program is for individuals with high learning agility and willingness to adapt and develop continuously, who aim at consistently outperforming in a variety of settings and circumstances.


  • Undergraduate entering third or fourth year.
  • Pursing a degree in Business Administration, Business Commerce or related from a recognized accredited college or university.
  • Record of high academic achievement (GPA 3.0 or higher preferred).
  • Wellrounded applicants with leadership roles in student organizations or extracurricular activities.
  • Must be legally authorized to work fulltime in the country of hire without requiring current or future sponsorship for employment.
