The Product Manager will lead the strategy in identifying valuable market solutions and opportunities for Smile Digital Health's core product.

This role will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from market opportunity assessment to product launch and post-launch.

The responsibilities include working closely with clients, executives and cross-functional teams to define, launch, and continually improve products and features to support Smile Digital Health's commitment to #BetterGlobalHealth.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage full product lifecycle from conception to endoflife for assigned product(s).
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally to develop and maintain business case(s), roadmap for new product features, target market and competitiveness research analysis for product positioning, ROI analysis, highlevel technical feasibility assessment, pricing strategy, revenue forecast, and marketing plan.
  • Deliver and prioritize valuedriven product initiatives, and define KPIs and OKR to measure their success against defined client requirements and business goals.
  • Determine business and customer success metrics.
  • Guide the overall product development by working closely with product owners and development teams to ensure that products are developed optimally to meet / balance market, customer, and stakeholder needs.
  • Evangelize product and/or features to both internal and external customers, hosting customer conversations and attending/presenting at relevant events.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and leaders in developing product communication materials (presentations, articles, white papers) and product sales strategies.
  • Develop and deliver product training to customer facing teams including product features and external demo requests for customers.
  • Maintain indepth technical knowledge of Smile Digital Health's solution offerings, target customers, product capabilities and understanding interdependencies between various systems.
  • Provide mentorship to all levels of Product Managers as well as support hiring and onboarding initiatives for new hires.
  • Accountable for ensuring that all working hours are accurately reported in Netsuite on a daily or weekly basis, that the majority of (if not all) hours are tracked as billable and that the project management tool in Netsuite is properly and fully utilized.

Requirements:


  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager or senior technical product owner and/or related experience combined with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, preferred.
  • Postsecondary education in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Engineering, or Mathematics or a level of experience that reflects or represents education.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver endtoend enterprise software product(s), electronic information exchange, transformation, and/or migration.
  • Familiarity with system interoperability, performance and maintainability.
  • Demonstrated applied knowledge of user testing and validation techniques.
  • Demonstrated consultative experience including facilitating meetings and communications with executivelevel clients, prospects, and partners.
  • Critical thinking skills with a creative solutionoriented mindset.
  • Selfdriven, proactive, and resultsoriented, with effective time management and communication skills.
  • Formal training on a reputable product management framework, preferred.
  • Familiar with the FHIR standard, SMART framework, and RESTful web services, strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following, an asset: Java, Javascript, JSON, XML, OIDC, SAML, SQL, RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Git/GitHub/GitLab, API design, platform architecture, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in data analytics, business intelligence, or machine learning, preferred.
