    SUMMARY:
    Résidence Saint- Louis and Bruyère Village is looking for a part-time physiotherapist to join its team of PT and PTAs in the provision of Physiotherapy assessment, treatment and care to clients in a long-term care, and seniors independent/assisted living setting

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


    As a member of our team you will be responsible for:Initiating and managing the assessment and treatment for restoring movement/function, orthopaedic conditions and pain management;Providing physiotherapy to outpatient residents in long-term care, and independent/assisted living setting.

    Developing a personalized treatment program that includes but is not limited to exercise, manual therapy and home exercise program.
    Prescribing and educating clients utilization of mobility aids, assistive devices and other equipment;Overseeing Physiotherapy Support Personnel (PTA).


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy;Registration with College of Physiotherapy of Ontario;Experience with supervision of support staff;Experience in working with the geriatric population and chronic diseases;CPR certification;ADP certified, or willingness to become certified considered an asset;Strong physical assessment & treatment planning skills;Excellent time management and organizational skills;Ability to work independently, yet collaboratively as a member of a team;Excellent oral and written communication skills;A commitment to best practices, quality, and client-centered care;2-3 years clinical practice experience preferred;Bilingual (French and English)
