Summary of Duties
The PAA is responsible for the coordination of patient flow and patient activities, administrative services for K2 West, maintenance of patient records, staffing, scheduling and payroll, as well as administrative support to the patient care residents, families and staff.
Qualifications/Skills
- One year of Community College; Medical Terminology course preferred
- One year of Administrative/Business experience in health care setting required
- Previous experience working in a dementia care environment preferred
- Demonstrated Patient-Focused Care/Customer Service behaviour
- Knowledge of software packages such as Word/Windows
- Keyboarding at 40 w.p.m with maximum 5% error rate
- Ability to organize work effectively, and work at a fast pace in an unpredictable environment
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
