We currently have a
Regular Full-Time opportunity for a
Project Leader in the
Holland Bone and Joint Program at
Holland Centre.


**Hours of Work: Weekday:
Days; 8 hrs; as per schedule


Summary of Duties:


The Project Leader reports to the Holland Centre Project Manager, and will focus on supporting priority strategic projects within the Holland Bone and Joint Program primarily related to the establishment of the Toronto Regional Arthroplasty Centre (TRAC).

The Project Leader will be responsible for all aspects of delivering assigned projects using project management best practices, including implementation plan development and execution, issue and risk identification and management, value realization and reporting.

Working with the Program leadership team, and engaging with a broad group of stakeholders, the Project Leader will manage projects related to the implementation of the TRAC model.


Responsibilities include:

  • Support the implementation of a communication strategy with referring physicians.
  • Project support to introduce technology to support program efficiency;
  • Support leaders in the recruitment and orientation of new staff;
  • Support the orientation and onboarding of new surgical staff/admins;
  • Support implementation of reporting requirements for new case volumes;
  • Provide leadership in developing a gap analysis and action plans to mitigate risks;
  • Develop process maps/flows for new work activities;
  • Work as a catalyst to motivate and support the adoption of new practices;
  • Support the development of submissions for space and equipment needs;
  • Develop and management detailed work plans, schedules and resources plans for projects;
  • Facilitate project team meetings by generating agendas and meeting materials;
  • Complete assigned projects on time and on budget;

Qualifications/Skills:


  • Bachelor Degree in business or related field of study.
  • Three years' experience in healthcare is preferable.
  • Previous project leadership experience is required.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work and adapt effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • High level of initiative and selfdirection.
  • Ability to problemsolve and prioritize work.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively make and manage change
