CIBC is currently looking for Credit Approval Specialists in the Toronto area


Currently there are multiple Intermediate Underwriter positions available in the Credit Adjudication department, across different teams and to accommodate the needs of business partners across Canada, you need to be flexible to work varying shift in order to accommodate.


Duties will include:
- **Decision
- **Relationship building
- **You will be handling, as required, correspondence and telephone inquiries from internal business partners and external business partners such as insurers, appraisers and solicitors.

Agility - You will be managing high work volumes to meet short time lines with a high level of quality and due diligence. You will also be expected to review a variety of lending products on a day to day basis.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Must self identify as First Nations/Metis/Inuit
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Able to put a strong focus on client needs
  • You give meaning to data. You enjoy investigating complex problems, and making sense of information.
  • You're digitally savvy. You seek out innovative solutions and embrace evolving technologies.
