Job Summary:
Defines, develops and delivers Standards Development-related programs (e.g., consumer program, outreach program) and services for CSA members and standards development staff across Standards divisions.
Defines, develops and delivers CSA membership initiatives to meet the strategic objectives to address member recruitment, outreach, recognition and retention.- Develops and implements an overall membership outreach strategy that aligns with key standards strategic objectives- Promotes the recruitment and engagement of new members, stakeholders and students in Standards Development activities- Develops and implements strategies to meet the differing needs of members, to attract new members and to retain existing members- Leads, develops and updates member training and guidance to improve member experience- Oversees member programs that promote participation (YP, consumer, students, DEI)- Manages member conflict and resolution process, providing guidance to members and standards development staff- Oversees member training to support continuous learning- Oversees member database, monitoring and reporting- Develops strategies for member recognition (e.g.
, member awards, long service)Preferred Education and Experience:
- Minimum 10 years or more experience in a notforprofit environment, with specific evidence of project management skills, including managerial/supervisory experience
- Undergraduate University degree
- Knowledge and experience in association membership & committee operations
- Knowledge of CSA business rules supporting our standards electronic tools and accredited Standards development process
- Excellent project management skills, ability to selfmanage and to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Customer service experience, including conflict resolution
- Good interpersonal, communication, strong presentation skills and conflict resolution skills required
- Selfstarter, highly organized, detail oriented, entrepreneurial
- Exemplary leadership skills
- Proven history of working in a collaborative environment
- Proven record of developing and implementing outreach and partnership strategies that align with strategic objectives
- Able to build and maintain positive and effective working relationships with internal and external parties including senior players in the industry
- Ability to exercise good judgment, show initiative and be proactive
- Adaptable to changes in process, systems, organization structures and priorities
- Be willing and able to travel, and possess a valid drivers' license
