We are looking for a
Customer Facing Supply Manager based at our Mississauga location.
The Customer Facing Supply Chain Manager will enhance the day-to-day operational effectiveness for both the customer and Nestle Purina while strengthening our relationship with the customer.
The Customer Facing Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the management and leadership of the Customer's Replenishment Strategy, focusing on Service Delivery, Forecast Planning and Inventory Management.
The Customer Facing Supply Chain Manager will liaise with all facets of the Nestlé Purina Supply Chain and Sales to ensure alignment and provide maximum service and promotional execution.
The focus of this role is to develop high levels of communication and proactive thinking to focus on strategic development for mutual benefit.
A day in the life of a Customer Supply Facing Manager
Internally Liaise with Sales, OTC, Product Supply and Ops Planning, and externally with the Customer Replenishment and Commercial teams to optimize store and DC KPI's while maximizing Sales
- Act as a Customer Champion internally to bring added value and initiatives into Nestle Purina
- Develop and Lead Collaborative Planning Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) process and Replenishment Strategies to support the maintenance of Key account KPI metrics at store and DC levels
- Maintain warehouse alignments and order review parameters to ensure an efficient, timely and smooth flow of orders is received by Purina.
- Organize & chair 30|60|90 meetings, providing challenge to assumptions using Customer figures
- Represent Nestlé Purina at Customers' internal meetings.
- Consistently act in Purina's best interests constantly striving to deliver a competitive advantage through delivering supply chain excellence.
- Establish network of key contacts and decision makers required to drive performance improvement across all facets / levels of Customer interaction
- Review, evaluate and analyze the impact of changes for new stores and distribution, as well as item life cycle management and product flow planning
- Lead item level forecast management within customer systems
- Support, educate, coach and train Customer Facing Supply Chain Analysts and Account Team on customer Replenishment Systems, Processes and Requirements to ensure mutually agreed to KPI targets are achieved
- Engage all team members in the active pursuit of all process improvement opportunities (problem prevention)
- Conduct regular meetings and business reviews with Sales Teams
- Challenge the status quo to improve decision making and problem solving
- Deliver effective business solutions on time and ensure errorfree order management.
- Conduct regular operational reviews internally and externally implementing required changes to improve performance.
- Active participation in all Supply Chain / Customer Service initiatives.
- Continuously review customer activity, analyze data, and identify trends taking corrective action and modifying procedures as required to meet customer service objectives.
- Deliver effective business solutions to reduce risk.
- Collaborate with marketing and MDO to determine target dates to remove write off risk
- Work with Procurement to ensure supply is available when required and minimize write off risk
- Ensure full cycle of product is reviewed including final write off quantities and cost through procurement, finance and marketing
