Job descriptionQTK Fine Cabinetry is a manufacturer of residential kitchens, vanities and other millwork.
QTK is looking for a dedicated, responsible and presentable
Kitchen Site Measurement and Service Technician to join our established company.
Prior experience with measuring and servicing kitchens is considered a huge asset.
We offer competitive salary based on experience and we will train the employee for this position.
Duties and responsibilities
- Visiting customers' homes and multiresidential job sites to measure and photograph projects
- Ensure that the space has been framed in properly, and confirm electrical and mechanical locations are correct
- Attach measuring pages & site photographs to the company ERP system to allow Engineers to view information for each project
- Revisit the site to confirm the changes have been made promptly and correctly
- Complete and send to the site super measuring reports
- Visit the project after installation. This requires filling out an inspection report and creating a ticket in the company ERP system to identify any outstanding or incomplete items
- Follow up with the finishing touches department to ensure timely resolution to installation issues.
- Carry out basic finishing touches duties while on site such as door and drawer adjustments, delivery of small items and other simple finishing touches tasks
- Attend to customer concerns, ensuring each customer has a positive and enjoyable experience.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft office
- Ability to use a measuring tape & laser measuring device
- Personable, Team Player, Accountable, Patient, Punctual, Reliable, Ability to Solve Problems
- Self-Starter needs to take on tasks on his/her own, can't wait to be assigned work
- Organized & capable of being in control of many things at one time. Ability to multi task, strong memory skills
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written in English
- Experience in woodworking or construction related industry IS REQUIRED
- Valid G driving license IS REQUIRED
Training Plan
- First 2 weeks working in the factory at cabinet assembly to learn how QTK builds cabinets and what information the assemblers need when building cabinetry
- 2 weeks of training on Measuring and procedures related to measuring and doing minor service on kitchen cabinets
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$17.16-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42.50 per week
