The Best Western Hotel is looking for an addition to their Housekeeping Team


Please note you must have your own transportation as there are no buses to the hotel


The Best Western Hotel Runner/Room Attendant works hard in coordination with both the Housekeeping Department and the front desk ensuring maximum guest satisfaction by keeping common areas clean and tidy.

This includes indoor and outdoor areas.





DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EXPERIENCE AN ASSET

  • Strip rooms of all linens and garbage
  • Clean all common areas
  • Must answer all calls communicated by the front desk staff.
  • Complete the runners log and turn it in at the end of the night.
  • Make sure that all Runner supply areas are properly stocked at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Ensure that all rollaway beds are made and pillows are cased at the beginning of the shift.
  • Check and stock pool in each of the pool areas assigned, with clean towels multiple times throughout shift.
  • Ensure that all boxes for room attendants supplies are stocked.
  • Perform other tasks or help in other areas when there are no calls to answer.
  • Turn in all keys at the end of the shift.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Will be cross trained as a room attendant

REQUIREMENTS:


  • MUST HAVE TRANSPORTATION no bus routes to property
  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE
  • Must be able to work weekends and Holidays.
  • Must possess excellent time management skills
  • Must be on time for work with a positive and willing attitude.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Must be able to follow instructions.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop and kneel.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From $14.15 per hour
