Description

You will be responsible to perform all tasks related to food and beverage service in an efficient and professional manner.

This includes service in the restaurant and on the gaming floor, where you must serve patrons efficiently and accurately while maintaining the cleanliness of your section.

You must adhere to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and other applicable municipal, provincial, and federal laws and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Exceeds guest expectations by providing outstanding customer service
Helps create an engaged work environment by choosing positivity and fun, recognizing excellent peer performance, and by caring about and supporting our colleagues every day
Greet guests by name wherever possible
Explains how various menu items or beverages are prepared (if applicable)
Take food and beverage orders from guests and ensure their order is brought out correctly and in a timely manner
Assists with cleaning tables or counters; removes dishes and restocks when required
Performs opening or closing duties as required
Performs cashier duties if applicable; counts cash float at end of shift if applicable
Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership and employees
Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
Perform other duties as required by the Supervisors and Food & Beverage Manager.
A High School diploma or comparable combination of equivalent working experience and education.
Experience in related field of one (1) or more years. The ability to work and excel in a fastpaced large volume business.
Peoplefocused and committed to service excellence
Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
Previous restaurant experience in a casino environment would be considered an asset.
The ability to work evenings, weekends and shift work.
The ability to obtain a Smart Serve Certification
The ability to obtain a Gaming Assistant License with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
