Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

We are looking for up to eight parttime instructors (60 hours each/term). Under the guidance of the Course Instructor and Lab Coordinator, each Instructor will tutor and evaluate groups of students using problem and casebased learning in Occupational Therapy Skills Labs. Instructors will be required to be onsite on Thursdays from 12:003:45 pm. Tutors may be required to attend onsite special events labs or exams on alternative days with advanced notice. Other offsite preparation, marking and/or office hours may also be required. Tutors are required to attend an orientation session prior to the academic term (to be scheduled). As time permits, other duties may be required to assist with lab preparation and/or delivery.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position

An entrytopractice qualification in occupational therapy and current registration as a licensed occupational therapist are required. A Master's degree is an asset. Excellent communication and organizational skills, and scheduling flexibility are required. Clinical experience in Neurorehabilitation (adults and/or pediatrics) is required. Technological access to the Brightspace platform will be required.
