Homebase currently serves more than 100,000 small (but mighty) businesses with everything they need to manage their hourly teams: employee scheduling, time clocks, payroll, team communication, hiring, onboarding, and compliance.

As a Homie, you will make an impact within our Business Operations team by:

Working alongside the Manager of BizOps & Strategy and product managers, you will play a crucial role in helping the team understand our business performance and set our product strategy
Becoming a product expert via defining, operationalizing, and analyzing key metrics that will drive the success of our existing and new features. Generating hypotheses, identifying growth opportunities and making recommendations based on data, working closely with product teams
Championing a selfserve data culture by designing, documenting and implementing new metrics, dashboards, and reports to provide visibility into business and product performance
Scaling existing systems and processes or help build new ones from the ground up to facilitate our customer growth and take our product analytics efforts to the next level
Conducting adhoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and other key opportunities
Preparing executivelevel presentations that clearly and succinctly communicate and explain the overall health and success of Homebase's product efforts
The role will require you to maintain a delicate balance between addressing shortterm highpriority tactical business needs with pioneering longerterm initiatives requiring "bigpicture" thinking

As a Homie, you are a bar raiser, this means you come with:

3-5 years of experience in a highly analytical role such as BizOps & strategy at a high-growth startup or in management consulting, corporate finance
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related field
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to effectively convey complex analyses to a broad set of people
Experience with SQL, Looker or other similar data visualization tools
Financial modeling and presentation skills (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Google Slides)
Familiarity with SaaS business model and product development lifecycle is considered an asset
Track record of success in working crossfunctionally, identifying and resolving issues independently, and generating results
Fundamentally curious and relentless in understanding the "why"
Possesses a sense of urgency in line with our value of "No Day Wasted"
A lover of local businesses supporting and building great products for them
