Description

As an Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will work to support our Finance division to process and control supplier invoices from third parties and intercompany invoices.

The successful incumbent will have a strong attention to detail and work in adherence to GAAP accounting practices and principles.

Responsibilities:

Accurately process employee expenses and handle a high volume of assigned invoices.
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the AP mailboxes for the AP team, on a daily basis.
Assist in monthend closing of ledgers, control of accounts and reporting, preparation of payment proposals, payment data entry, EFT runs, distribution of electronic remittances, online bill payments and cheque runs
Responsible for the processing of 3rd party invoices via our AP software and integration with our corporate ERP based on our LCA procurement procedure
Completion of vendor statement reconciliations on a monthly basis
Filing as required
Back up support to other team member as needed
Other duties as assigned

Competencies:

5+ years' experience in full cycle accounts payables is required, including experience working with ERP accounting systems
College completion required, an Accounting Diploma or related field of study is strongly preferred
Highly resourceful and detail driven
Demonstrated sense of urgency, and the ability to thrive in a very dynamic environment with regular changes in priorities.
