Responsibilities:

Performing administrative tasks such as patient check in/out, including processing insurance claims, reviewing treatment plans, and discussing cost/financing options
Maintain a professional reception area
Answer and respond to telephone calls with professionalism and exceptional customer service
Make followup appointments as needed following patient visit or due to cancellations etc.
Schedule patients for efficient use of doctor and staff time; maintain appointment calendar
Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the practice

Qualifications:

Dentrix experience is a must
Dental Background is a must
Canadian experience is an assist
Two years of Dental administration experience required
Good interpersonal and verbal skills to maintain effective rapport with patients, dentists, other staff members
A team player
Customer service or patient relations experience; conflict resolution experience.

Able to adapt to office policy improvements

Detailoriented, organized, quick response/accurate data entry to present treatment plans to patients in a short time frame.
Maintain positive attitude and composure when adverse conditions occur and multitask
Knowledge of Dentrix is an asset
Must have organization, communication, and computer skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$22.00-$30.00 per hour
