Description

We are a manufacturing company in Mississauga.

We are looking for a part time Cleaner/Janitor to clean our building weekly and carry out minor repairs such as changing light bulbs and faucet washers.

Company will purchase supplies, paper towels, toilet paper etc.

Where applicable company will rent equipment for tasks like stripping floors

Cleaning will involve the following activities:

Front offices, lobby, front corridors, board room, kitchen, washrooms, coat cupboard, shoe racks (approximately 2500 sqft) weekly cleaning

Dust or vacuum all table tops, desk tops, window ledges, light fixtures, printer surfaces, book shelf tops, locker tops, filing cabinet tops, picture frames.
Wipe computer screens
Wipe telephones
Chairs vacuumed on surfaces and in crevices
Around light switches, door handles spot washed
Floors vacuumed and mopped. Corner to corner
Empty all garbage containers in outside garbage bin
Empty all recycling containers in Green recycling bins in the production area

Monthly cleaning

Wipe all table tops, desk tops, window ledges, light fixtures, printer surfaces, book shelf tops, locker tops, filing cabinet tops, picture frames.
Ceiling air ducts vacuumed or dusted
Dusting blinds
Clean office interior door windows

Extra weekly tasks for board room

Boardroom table wiped

Extra weekly tasks for Kitchen

Clean counter and sinks
Wipe cabinet doors and drawer doors
Wipe tables
Clean kitchen interior door window if dirty
Clean inside and outside of microwave ovens
Run the dishwasher and empty after it has run
Every 6 months empty fridge and discard contents and clean inside

Washrooms weekly

Clean toilets and urinals, bowls and seats
Clean counter tops and sinks
Mop floors
Clean mirrors
Refill hand soap
Refill toilet paper
Leave hand towel paper on the counter tops
Monthly wipe cubicle doors and walls

Production Area weekly (approximately 17,000 sqft)
- vacuum floors from corner to corner

Use floor cleaning machine to clean as much area as possible using no detergent, water only
Hand mop areas not accessible to floor cleaning machine such as under desks
Empty all garbage containers in outside garbage bin
Empty all recycling containers in Green recycling bins in the production area

Tasks to be performed semi annually or as required
