The work location is at

Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (84 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

Future challenges


Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Concentrator Operator Class 3 is responsible for the various ore monitoring and processing operations.


The main responsibilities of the job are:

  • Ensure the proper operation of the concentrator equipment in all sectors (crushing, flotation, reagents, control room, presses, thickeners);
  • Perform routine checks and inspections on the concentrator equipment;
  • Maintain the various equipment of the concentrator in a clean and safe condition;
  • Carry out any other tasks required in relation to the position.

Profile required

  • Professional study diploma in Machine operations, mineral and metal processing combined with any relevant experience;
  • Experience in the operation of an industrial process (mines/concentrator, metals, pulp and paper, chemistry/petrol chemistry);
  • Ability to identify and diagnose troubleshoot breakdowns and problems encountered with the various equipment;
  • Valid driver's license.

Nice to have

  • Bilingualism (French and functional English);
  • Good knowledge of MS Office software.
