About the Role:
Thentia is looking for an Account Executive to join our new Payments division and our expanding sales team serving the North American Regulatory market.
This exciting opportunity is uniquely positioned for an experienced sales professional from the payments industry who is passionate about providing easy-to-use, cost-effective solutions.
They understand the evolving world of technology and its impact on the regulatory space.
In this role you will be responsible for the full sales cycle in our payments business line as you engage our existing base of regulatory bodies.
You will also prospect new small & medium regulatory customers and take them through the full sales cycle to close.
You skillfully engage prospective customers to uncover current needs and use your deep understanding of Thentia's payments offering to offer solutions.
You are motivated by developing new customer relationships and get excited about accelerating the sales cycle through quick alignment of our payments value proposition with customer needs.
You are a great listener and can balance customer expectation with an approach that drives results.As you develop new regulatory payments customers, you nurture long-term relationships built on a foundation of open communication and trust resulting in great outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage your deep knowledge of payments to upsell our existing regulatory customers
- Exceed targets by managing the complete sales cycle for payment solutions
- Develop the payments market for Thentia through innovative goto market approaches that create new customers
- Establish and nurture relationships with new clients by undercovering needs and engaging as a highly knowledgeable, trusted advisor
- Stay connected and guide customers seamlessly through the sales process through to implementation handoff
- Ensure that you are building demand and supporting the sales process by developing succinct, compelling proposals
- Conduct contract negotiations in a manner that is helpful to customers and maintains momentum in the process
- Continue to maintain a comprehensive understanding of Thentia's payment products and services
- Complete all administrative obligations such as (but not limited to) expense reports within company policy
Qualifications:
- Must have completed a postsecondary education in a complementary discipline such as marketing, or business.
- A minimum of 7 years in a full cycle sales role selling software and/or solutions.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience focused on payments products.
- Demonstrated consistent target attainment and clear history of top performance within a sales team.
- A clear history of operating in a fastpaced, customer centric sales organization with a passion for competing for new business.
- Compelling energy that gets our team and customers excited through superior communication, negotiation and organization skills.
- Adept and disciplined in CRM (Salesforce) use for all pipeline and activity management.
- Proven understanding of payments industry and transactionbased revenue models.
- Clear history of exceptional relationship management exercises.
- Understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information and exercises appropriate discretionary conduct.
- Thrives in a team environment while excelling in your role with limited daytoday management
- Travel as required for customer meetings, related industry events, and conferences.
