Description

Danson Decor Inc is the Leader in Import / Distribution of Seasonal Decorations designed for commercial Holidays. In business for over 85 years and the company now sells over 10,000 decorative items throughout all Canada.

Assisting in all sales and customer inquiries
Leading role in showroom sales meetings along with Category Directors (virtual and inperson)
Creating promotional material for new products, new categories, or new opportunities
Preparing internal pricing sheets
Providing customers with quotations and catalogs to facilitate the buying process
Completing customer item creation forms (including customer vendor portal information)
Collaborating with other departments to respond to any customer requests such as image requests, etc.
Communicating with factories for quotation requests, item modifications, sample requests, etc.
Preparing and sending samples to customer offices / trade shows
Reviewing customer PO's to ensure accuracy of order information and achievability of delivery dates
For franchised customers, attending customer trade shows and selling to / building relationships with their franchisees

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

5 years' experience in sales and/or account management
Ambitious, proactive, organized, and selfmotivated
Excellent communication skills
Strong Excel skills
Walmart Retail Link (asset)
50% French / 50% English (spoken and written) to communicate with customers in Québec and across Canada
