Under the general direction of the Agreement Analysis and Support Supervisor, will provide expert support to the development of
various licensing and regulatory submissions as well the development and implementation of engagement and communication
initiatives with Indigenous communities and groups. The Agreements and Engagement Analyst will provide functional support on
various ongoing operational files within the Division, which are fluid to reflect current issues and priorities at any given time,
including, but not limited to, the negotiation and implementation of adverse effects and other forms of agreements.
_ Responsibilities:
_
- Perform duties to support compliance with regulatory, agreement and licence requirements.
- Prepare, review and update engagement and other technical reports for submission to regulatory agencies to meet regulatory
- Collaborate with others within the Division and across Hydro in the compilation of comprehensive engagement and other
- Provide ongoing support as required to the negotiation, analysis and implementation of adverse effects and other agreements
- with communities.
- Assist in the ongoing monitoring of agreement compliance.
- Conduct research, provide guidance and support and write reports related to settlement agreements and negotiations
- Lead and/or collaborate with other Divisions and Business units in the design and implementation of
- Collaborate with and provide expert advice to other corporate groups on engagement plans.
- Develop and distribute engagement and communication materials.
- Liaise with Indigenous communities and other groups through the engagement/communication process.
- Maintain tracking systems for engagement processes and outcomes related to operational works.
- Prepare, review and edit briefing materials, reports, correspondence and other materials for internal and external audiences.

_ Qualifications_
- A fouryear degree from a university of recognized standing in related discipline including the Social Sciences, Resource
OR
- A twoyear diploma in a related discipline from an institute of recognized standing with a minimum of seven years of related

- Strong analytical, written and oral communication skills are required. This position includes substantial research and writing to
- Experience working with Indigenous peoples, particularly in Manitoba, is an asset.
- Experience with engagement and communication programs, including making public presentations and responding to public
- inquiries.
- Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems would be an asset.
- Possess experience building collaborative and joint processes aimed at mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Experience participating or leading community negotiations is an asset.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential materials.
- Ability to meet challenging deadlines and manage shifting work priorities with mínimal supervision.
- Selfmotivated, task oriented individual capable of meeting deadlines and managing shifting priorities while working with a
- minimum of supervision.
- Possess strong computer skills and specifically working knowledge of Microsoft Office word processing, spreadsheets,
- Possess a valid Province of Manitoba Class 5 Motor Vehicle Driver's Licence.
