Summary:


As Project Coordinator, you will be instrumental in the successful completion of retail and office building projects, integrating health and safety, and ESG considerations into project management for optimal results.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to the specified quality standards.

You will work closely with project managers, consultants, contractors, and various other stakeholders to coordinate and streamline project activities.


Responsibilities:


  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Work closely with project managers and operations teams to create thorough project plans, encompassing timelines and budgets, and oversee project progress, proactively identifying and addressing potential delays through the implementation of contingency plans when necessary.
  • Communication and Coordination: Act as a central point of contact for projectrelated communications, promoting effective collaboration, while coordinating with operations, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Additionally, facilitate routine project meetings to address progress, challenges, and collaboratively develop solutions.
  • Budgeting: Play a key role in developing and overseeing capital, maintenance, and leasing project budgets.
  • Tendering: Assist the tendering process by coordinating and managing the preparation of comprehensive project proposals, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure accurate and competitive submissions.
  • Cost Control: Collaborate with finance teams to efficiently process invoices and meticulously track project expenses, maintaining a vigilant approach to cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Control: Collaborate with quality control teams to guarantee that construction adheres to established standards, conducting regular site inspections to identify and promptly address any quality issues.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure the maintenance of accurate and uptodate project documentation, from project start to closeout, while consistently generating and delivering regular progress reports for both project managers and stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and skillfully develop mitigation strategies, concurrently ensuring strict compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols.

Contractor Management:

Contribute to the selection process of vendors and contractors, actively manage relationships with external partners to ensure the fulfillment of project requirements, and evaluate contractor performance, providing feedback as necessary to optimize project outcomes.


  • Health and

Safety Compliance:

Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations on construction sites by collaborating closely with safety officers to implement and enforce robust safety protocols.


  • ESG Integration: Integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into project planning and execution, and systematically monitor and report on the project's impact on environmental, social, and governance aspects.

Experience and Skills:


  • Diploma in relevant field and 2 to 4 years of experience
  • Proven experience in project coordination within the retail or commercial construction sector, specifically mechanical and electrical systems
  • Experience in accounting, specifically Yardi Construction Manager
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, safety standards
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with construction management software and tools
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings
