Are you an experienced legal professional seeking a fantastic opportunity with a dynamic and respected law firm? Look no further We are currently partnering with a prestigious law firm in their search for a talented Corporate Legal Assistant.
If you have 3-5 years of relevant experience and possess a passion for corporate law, this could be the perfect fit for youResponsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Corporate Services team to provide comprehensive corporate legal support to our esteemed clients
- Assist in the preparation and review of a wide range of legal documents, including annual reports, consent resolutions, and other corporate maintenance accounts
- Maintain accurate and uptodate corporate records and documentation
- Conduct research and analysis on various corporate legal matters to support lawyers and clients
- Prepare materials and documentation for dividends, redemptions, and other corporate transactions
- Coordinate and manage filing requirements with relevant registries
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient legal processes
- Assist with the incorporation process and the preparation of necessary corporate documents
- Stay updated on relevant corporate laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide accurate advice
- Contribute to the maintenance and organization of virtual and physical legal files
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position within a law firm
- Strong knowledge of filings, governance, and working with accountants on organizational documents
- Detailoriented and highly organized, with the ability to handle deadlines and work well under pressure
- Positive attitude and an excellent team player
- Selfmotivated, able to work independently with mínimal direction while enjoying collaboration within a team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and ALF
