In addition to a robust proprietary pipeline, Fusion has a collaboration with AstraZeneca to jointly develop novel targeted alpha therapies (TATs) and combination programs between Fusion's TATs and AstraZeneca's DNA Damage Response Inhibitors (DDRis) and immune-oncology agents.

Fusion has also entered into a collaboration with Merck to evaluate FPI-1434 in combination with Merck's KEYTRUDA (pembrolizumab) in patients with solid tumors expressing IGF-1R.

To support Fusion's growing pipeline of TATs, the company has signed strategic actinium supply agreements with TRIUMF, Niowave, and BWXT Medical.


The Vice President, Supply Chain and Logistics is responsible for overseeing our supply chain operations, including forecasting, demand planning and procurement as well as inbound and outbound transportation, to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to our customers.

This role executes the strategy and vision to expand and evolve Fusion's radiopharmaceutical commercial and clinical business.

This individual reports to the Chief Technology Officer and works collaboratively with the Manufacturing, Clinical Development, New Product Planning, and Quality Assurance to develop and drive transformation initiatives to satisfy customer demand through implementation of innovative solutions.

The Vice President, Supply Chain Management oversees all groups within the supply chain and logistics functions and is responsible for inspiring the teams to drive organizational effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and growth.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Global Supply Chain and Logistics strategy, budget, planning, timelines, riskmitigation, and forecasts for Fusion's radiopharmaceutical portfolio
  • Develop strategies oversight of logistics, labeling, packaging, distribution assets.
  • Provide distribution and logistics of shipments including working with freight forwarders & brokers on import/export
  • Lead planning and implementation of commercial supply activities including secondary packaging, artwork, labeling, serialization, logistics, 3PL distribution. Collaborate with Commercial to ensure strategy, timelines, risk mitigation plans for a successful global commercial launch
  • Work cross functionally with key stakeholders including Manufacturing, Clinical Development, New Product Planning, and Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Finance and Legal to translate clinical/commercial demand forecast into a supply forecast for drug substance, drug product and finished goods for assigned programs/projects
  • Responsible for establishing and overseeing Sales & Operations Planning process for commercial supplies.
  • Lead inventory management / ERP implementation efforts and subsequently maintain data within ERP as it relates to supply chain and inventory management
  • Partner with Finance on monthend inventory reconciliation, issuance of purchase orders and payment of invoices
  • Responsible for functional SOPs, PAI readiness etc. in collaboration with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing
  • Manage a team of direct report(s) and consultants

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Pharmaceutical Supply Chain experience required.
  • An established track record in pharmaceutical logistics and supply chain management while being wellversed in regulatory requirements for INDs and NDAs and global GMPs and GCPs.
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the Justintime pharmaceutical manufacturing for investigational product and commercial supply chain
  • Expertise with radiopharmaceuticals is highly desired.
  • Flexible and responsive to the changes in the supply chain environment. Focuses on speed, cost efficiency, responsiveness, flexibility, and productivity in the production and delivery of goods
  • Cost and risk conscious to ensure efficient use of transportation/supply chain resources to meet the needs of patients and customers
  • Influential in prioritizing the purchasing of supply chain products and services that do mínimal damage the environment
  • Industry aware keeping abreast with trends, developments, and technologies within the field of Justintime supply chain, locally and internationally to understand the impact of these
