The Manager, Community Development and Stakeholder Relations will recruit and manage a network of corporate and government partners, perform research and present on leading research and innovative developments in areas such as economic and labour market trends, health care access, education, not-for-profit governance and community-based social programs and manage the content and financial aspects of contracts.
The Manager, Community Development and Stakeholder Relations will provide advice on program and policy issues as well as lead or participate in interdepartmental and professional committees.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or a related field.
AND
Several years of experience in stakeholder management, event planning, project management, marketing and business communication.
Experience
In program management and development
In generating and managing a network of community stakeholders
In researching economic and labour market trends and opportunities
In researching, drafting, interpreting, and editing policies and procedures
In liaising with corporate executives
In creating and conducting presentations and workshops
In planning and delivering national and regional events
In writing reports, briefing notes and other communications
In developing strategic plans and outcome measurement
In preparing agreements
In creating marketing plans
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

English or French essential, Bilingual an asset.

This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
