The Opportunity:


_ Scope of the position _


The UKG HCM (Human Capital Management) Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the effective utilization of UKG HCM to manage RSL workforce, comply with regulations, and support the strategic People and Culture initiatives.


Please note:

the role will be based at RSL's headquarters in South Burnaby and is a full-time contract position for six months.


_ Duties and responsibilities_

  • Collaborate with the P&C Manager to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommend and implement solutions to align with RSL's policies, procedures and business requirements.
  • Facilitate implementation of UKG system improvements and other systems as identified.
  • Serve as the lead representative and liaison between the People and Culture team, IT Department, external vendors, and other UKG stakeholders for design and project implementations.
  • Create system user roles and manage access permissions.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to UKG users.
  • Program customs functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports to support different functions such as onboarding, recruitment, payroll and benefits administration, LMS, and performance management.
  • Coordinate and implement system upgrades and patches, ensuring the system is up to date with the latest features and security measures.
  • Generate and analyze reports to provide insights into workforce metrics, trends, and key performance indicators.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy within the UKG HCM System.
  • Ensure compliance with Provincial and Federal Standards.
  • Other reasonable duties and projects as may be required from time to time.

_Skills and Qualifications_

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience working with UKG system administration
  • UKG Pro and Ready.
  • Extensive experience with Human Capital Management (HCM), HRIS, HR Software/databases and time keeping systems.
  • Certificate or Diploma in a related field of Human Resources is preferred.
  • Must have advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Solid knowledge of the concepts, practices, standards and capabilities of HCM.
  • Excellent analytical, logical reasoning and reporting skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • History of setting and achieving goals and accomplishing tasks with aggressive timelines.
  • An individual with high integrity, creativity, and a rollup your sleeves work ethic.
