Job description

We are currently looking for a Shipper/Material Handler to join our team.

Job Duties

Responsibilities:

Picking, packaging, wrapping, and strapping of customer orders.
Receiving of incoming goods.
Preparation of shipping documents.
Inventory and cycle counts.
General warehouse activities cleaning and organizing of warehouse.
Communicating with other shippers in department on different shifts.
Maintain housekeeping at an acceptable and organized level. This includes all workstations, floors, cleaning of tools and equipment, organizing and stacking of material.
Ensure all work is performed according to procedures and work instructions.
Understand and follow all Health and Safety concerns.
Understand, follow, and enforce all Quality System procedures and work instructions.

Qualifications

23 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing setting.
Experience in packaging, palletizing and skid wrapping.
Forklift experience/license.
Basic computer skills with some data entry experience, use of hand held scanners.
Possess manual dexterity, ability to lift > 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to follow workflow and schedules.
Above team average attendance.
