Buyer

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for receiving, reordering, and tracking purchase requisitions
Participates in crossfunctional teams to support operations with procurement activities
Track and report on blanket agreement expiry dates
Research discrepancies in deliveries, invoices, etc.
Create monthly scorecards to track supplier Performance
Spare part tracking and crib inventory tracking
Lead and Manage Crib Attendants

Minimum Qualifications:

Supply Chain management professional (SCMP) designation/diploma or equivalent
57 years purchasing experience
Technical software requirements. Working knowledge of CMS, Visual. Proficient in Microsoft office (including Microsoft project)
Strong negotiations, problem solving and multi tasking
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work in a face paced environment
Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

57 years purchasing experience

in the automotive industry
