The role of the Valves & Instrumentation Project Manager is to provide first class support to our customers at our office in Oakville, both on a technical and commercial level.
You must be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the technical and commercial requirements and have good interpersonal skills.
Our Valves & Instrumentation Project Managers are considered important technical resources in the eyes of our customers.Responsibilities
- Establish customer needs based on the Request for Quotation (RFQ).
- Make selections & quotations for products represented by Everest Automation.
- Followup on open opportunities.
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers.
- Enter customer orders.
- Make purchase orders for products not in inventory or at special prices with suppliers.
- Will follow and manage execution of ongoing projects.
- Will work on domestic and international projects.
- Keep up to date on products and services offered by Everest Automation.
Qualifications:
- Electro-Mechanical Engineer Diploma
- International Business Administration Diploma
- Minimum 510 years experience in valves & instruments sales & selection
- Minimum 2 years experience with
- Valmet valve product line
- Valmet Pipeline & Nelprof softwares
- Flowserve (Valtek, Atomac & Durco) product line
- Flowserve Performance software
- ABB measurement & analytics product line
- Epicor ERP System
- Experience and desire to serve customers.
- Good knowledge of Office 365
- Excel
- SharePoint
- Word
- Outlook
- Teams
- Resultsoriented and able to manage a variable workload.
- Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Excel
