Description
The incumbent will be involved in various installation and renovations of heating and steam distribution systems. Paid at the CCQ rate.- Install and secure pipes, tubes, fittings and related equipment, as specified, by welding, brazing, cementing, welding and screwing joints.
- Attach the pipes to walls, structures and accessories, such as radiators or tanks, using supports, clamps, tools or welding equipment.
- Inspect, examine and test the installed systems and pipelines using a pressure gauge, hydrostatic tests, observation or other methods.
- Plan the layout, installation or repair of the piping system according to specifications. Remove and replace worn components.
- Pipefitter 3 year apprentice or better
- Gas card an asset (ITG)
