Bring your expertise in organization and prioritization
The Pharmaceutical Laboratory & Blood Services Division leads, innovates and manages the Province's drug programs to improve health outcomes.

It is responsible for the overall coordination, decision making, and performance of the BC PharmaCare program, which is regulated under the Pharmaceutical Services Act.


Job Requirements:


  • Degree in business administration, public administration, related field or equivalent and three (3) years of related experience.

Related Experience must include all of the following:

  • Experience with managing complex operational issues
  • Experience managing multiple projects or leading a component (e.g., subproject) of a major project.
  • Experience managing relationships with senior level stakeholders and leading consultation sessions.
  • Experience in directing the work for other project managers, professional employees, and/or consultants.
  • Experience in budget management, procurement and conflict resolution.
  • Experience with information technology and information management.

Preferences:


  • Preference may be given to individuals with strong experience with PharmaNet and the health care sector technology.

About this Position:

An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week as per the Telework Agreement.

This is a temporary opportunity until 12/15/2023
