Aftermarket Sales Representative - Edmonton, Canada - Johnston Equipment
Description
An Aftermarket Sales Representative is responsible and accountable to ensure Aftermarket sales growth within their defined territory.How You'll Make an Impact:
- Create needs and develop key segments for Maintenance contracts, Shop & Road Work, Power and accessories, Allied product line, 8210, Edge and hand pallet trucks.
- Present product information regarding features, benefits, and new Raymond and Johnston product offering to customers.
- Present driver training and leasing agreements for proposed equipment (8210, Power) and services.
- Represent and promote all Johnston services and divisions to the customer.
Market Penetration
- Investigate and target competitive users and nonusers within assigned territory to promote Service agreements, Major repairs, and Overhauls.
- Pass leads to appropriate reps for all products and services other than 8210, Edge and Pallet trucks.
- Create action plans to convert competitive users and nonusers to Johnston customers.
- Actively participate in account retention
Preparation of Proposals and Orders
- Identify opportunities and prepare formal quotation for Major repairs, equipment and services to be presented to customers and prospects.
- Acquire management approval and signature for discounts.
- Prepare internal order forms and paperwork.
Forecasting/Reporting Plans
- Utilize CRM tool.
- Prepare annual business plans, market plans and identify target accounts.
- Update territory and equipment database as required.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- High level of integrity and work ethic.
- Secondary School or a University Degree/College Diploma an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas.
- Solid experience in opportunity qualification, previsit planning, call control, account development, and time and territory management.
- Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers.
- Strong knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- Selfmotivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
