We are seeking a Branch Coordinator for our growing team in our Brockville office.Our Fire Alarm, Security, Sprinkler and Electrical professionals are protecting people and property every day.
In business since 1969, we are a well-respected organization with a focus on customer service, with offices across the province and a single source approach of having Electricians, Sprinkler Fitters, Security Technicians and Suppression Technicians in house.
A Branch Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office and ensuring that administrative tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
Overall, the Branch Coordinator in the Fire and Safety Industry plays an essential role in ensuring the smooth running of the office, supporting the work of the management and staff, and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support
- Strive to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Process all documents with accuracy and efficiency
- Organizing and coordinating technicians' schedules, meetings, and events
- Preparing reports, presentations, and other documents as required
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
- Coordinating travel arrangements for staff and management
Financial Management
- Assist with the preparation of invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Managing accounts payable and receivable records to send to head office
- Preparing budgets, processing and tracking local work orders, local purchases and ensuring associated documentation is processed for head office.
Human Resource Management
- Assisting with recruitment and onboarding of new staff
- Maintaining employee records and updating employee information
- Coordinating employee training and development programs
- Assisting with managing employee benefits and leave requests
Health and Safety
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate measures
- Coordinating emergency response procedures and drills
Qualifications and Skills
- Business Administration Diploma or equivalency is preferred
- 25 years of work experience in related field is an asset
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products and high level of computer proficiency
- Strong organization skills and the ability to multitask in a high paced environment
- Scheduling experience is an asset
- Positive attitude and team player
Remuneration is based on level and experience and includes shared medical & dental coverage, tuition reimbursement, business mileage reimbursement, and more.
