Position:
Systems Analyst

Type:
Full time/Contract


Must Haves:


  • Knowledge and experience on ticketing and work queue management
  • Excellence on investigating and troubleshooting production issues
  • Ability to provide implementation and post implementation support as required
  • Knowledge and experience on
  • MS Windows 10 and 11 (recent builds) Deployment and Troubleshooting
  • MS Windows Server 2012 R2 and 2019, Active Directory and Troubleshooting
  • MS SQL Server Management Studio
  • Be able to do MS Windows PowerShell scripting, MS VB Scripting
  • Knowledge and experience on
file transfer protocols

  • Knowledge of network, firewalls
  • Basic infrastructure knowledge, including fax, server, mainframe, lighting, HVAC, etc.
  • Knowledge of change/enhancement/release management
  • Provides specialized technical expertise in the overall analysis of the design and architecture of systems solutions.
  • Ability to evaluate recommendations and ensure all recommended solutions for improvement are congruent with the project goals and objectives Identifies short and longterm project goals/objectives.
  • Be able to lead the analysis, development and documentation of design and architecture of systems solutions.
  • Ability to research and evaluate of the technical components in the acquisition of software, hardware, technology, systems and products

Salary:
$80.00-$85.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Oshawa, ON L1H 1B2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
