As the O2C Country Business Partner you are responsible to oversee the credit, accounts receivable and collection activities as the O2C Country Business Partner. You are also responsible for the coordination of the cash forecast. As part of the Canadian and Region O2C team, this role is critical in ensuring the timely collection of accounts and timely resolution of issues by working collaboratively with all stakeholders.

  • Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Single point of contact for country stakeholders (CFOs / FSC Head etc.) and Sandoz Global Competency Center (GCC) teams for O2C (Credit & AR) and TCM (Treasury cash management) activities for Canada
  • Coordinates with the stakeholders to understand their requests and works with the O2C finance teams to meet agreed objectives
  • Leads and drives credit committee meetings
  • Develops and maintains good relationships with key customers / distributors along with the GCC teams
  • Oversees and supports the GCC and outsourced operations in execution of O2C services to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement and joint teamwork
  • Prepares, reviews and presents reports and presentations and drives all stakeholders to ensure KPIs and expectations are met
  • Assists during the monthend closing process and reviews bad debt provision calculation
  • Actively supports the Collection and Credit strategy to improve cash flow, to reduce deductions and mitigate financial risks and support the Budget/Latest Forecast process related to Networking Capital items (analysis of actual vs forecast)
  • Treasury/ cash management support the GCC in the preparation of the cash forecast and review of the cash forecast (monthly/ quarterly/ annual/analysis of actual vs forecast)

Minimum requirements

  • What you'll bring to the role:
  • CPA, CA designation preferred, with
  • 4 years of experience within an O2C (Credit & AR) environment, experience with cash management an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multinational, matrix organization
  • Digital mindset SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Experience managing improvement projects
  • Sharp business acumen for dealing with and addressing issues & opportunities
  • Excellent people and communication skills in English and French (spoken and written)
