Job Overview
Responsible for planning and overseeing multiple Supply Chain projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.
This is a 1 year contract.
Experience, Education, Certifications
- University degree or postsecondary diploma/certificate in business or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience related to project management or equivalent related experience working in a retail environment preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- At least 3 years of direct experience as project manager within a retail and/or pet supply similar SKUintensive industry
- Experience in Waterfall, Agile and DevOps preferred.
- Define project objectives, scope, performance measures, governance, requirements, and resources in consultation with Executive Sponsors and stakeholders. Establish roles and responsibilities for the project.
- Lead planning, development, and implementation of project plans for corporate initiatives to ensure deliverables are achieved working with cross functional teams from across the organization. Identify and track work packages, deliverables, and timelines.
- Provide ongoing communication to stakeholders, including status updates, and project documents for varied purposes, including executive briefings, meetings with internal and external stakeholders, committees, and project sponsors.
- Proactively identifies and tracks project risks and risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in project planning, implementation, management principles and methodologies, business analysis.
- Strong writing skills to produce business case proposals, reports, briefings, and requirements documentation are essential.
- Strong verbal and communications skills to facilitate workshops, lead meetings, and present to various project teams is required.
- Demonstrated experience preparing and delivering presentations to wide range of audiences.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and client management skills; highly developed impact and influencing skills.
- Advanced organizational skills with demonstrated ability to set priorities, meet and manage multiple and conflicting deadlines and work under pressure.
- Experience in Warehouse Management systems, Autostore, Yard Management and Slotting preferred.
