What you bring to the role:
Education
- 4 year degree or equivalent in Business, Administration or Education
Experience
- A minimum 3 years of adulteducation related experience, preferably at a postsecondary institution and with an international focus.
- Experience working within a complex service environment with international students in an advising or support capacity is an asset.
- The incumbent must have a commitment to continuing education knowledge of programs of study and academic progression and regulations.
- Ability to function with a high degree of independence re: decision making
Skills
- They will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong attention to detail; problem solving skills; data management and advanced computer skills; including but not limited to MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite; the ability to organize and prepare professional documents; and the capacity to take initiative while demonstrating good judgment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to support effective interaction between students, potential students, faculty and staff
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills to promote students development and academic success
