Weldco-Beales Manufacturing designs and manufactures specialized heavy equipment attachments for the construction, forestry, mining, scrap recycling, road maintenance
and resource industries throughout Canada, the USA and internationally.
Quality Control Coordinator for the
Barrie manufacturing team. This position will report to the
General Foreman.

What you will do:
- Oversee the company Quality Control Program, through recommending, planning, developing, and establishing objectives
- Assist and support Lean initiatives
- Instruct others on company policies and procedures as pertains to quality, in both oneonone and group settings
- Monitor quality control inspection protocol to ensure that all standards are met or exceeded
- Develop policies and procedures to enhance the inspection process
- Maintain nonconformance report (NCR) program
- Participate in quality audits including annual ISO
- Ensure rigorous quality assurance standards are adhered to
- Prepare and conduct walk through inspections with customers and relevant departments.
- Compile and generate reports and other forms of communication to distribute to customers and relevant departments
- Organize and accurately input internal and project documentation
- Continuous product improvement through working with all departments to deal with product deficiencies to ensure product is improved
- Collaborate with all departments to minimize the need for rework, by resolving problems, and recommending work measures to improve productivity
- Conduct data analysis, interpretation, and reporting in order to make recommendations for improvement
- Investigate and respond to product quality complaints, and develop procedures that effectively improve productivity and quality
- Provide an exceptional customer service, respond expeditiously to customer requests pertaining to quality control related issues from employees/quality control technicians/management
- Other duties as required
Your qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Knowledge of industry & products, quality management and continuous improvement processes
- Knowledge of 5S and Lean
- Six Sigma Certification is an asset
- Indepth knowledge of all tools and equipment in steel fabrication and welding operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Indepth knowledge of safety practices
