Description
The Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling, stamping and testing SSS products in accordance with work order requirements.


Key position functions include:


  • Responsible to ensure assembly and testing meet work order requirements
  • Paint and/or coat products
  • Identify nonconformances by separation and/or marking
  • Check all calibration is accurate and recalibrate as necessary
  • Operate various engraving systems
  • Maintain workstation and equipment to an acceptable Stream-Flo standard of cleanliness
  • Follow all work order and process traveler requirements and fill out job sheets or record time using ERP system
  • Report all machine, crane and hoist problems in the proper maintenance logs and notify Maintenance Department and/or lead hand/supervisor of a down time situation
  • Ensure processes and testing operations are performed in accordance with safety regulations and are carried out in a conscientious manner
  • Perform other duties assigned by Lead Hand/Supervisor
  • High school diploma with a mechanical aptitude
  • Related assembly, testing and painting experience an asset
  • Mechanical assembly/repair experience an asset
  • Read and understand engineering drawings, technical documents and flow diagrams an asset
  • Forklift experience an asset
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Detail oriented and a strong work ethic
  • Good communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Selfmotivated and ability to prioritize
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced, team environment
