Description

The Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling, stamping and testing SSS products in accordance with work order requirements.

Key position functions include:

Responsible to ensure assembly and testing meet work order requirements
Paint and/or coat products
Identify nonconformances by separation and/or marking
Check all calibration is accurate and recalibrate as necessary
Operate various engraving systems
Maintain workstation and equipment to an acceptable Stream-Flo standard of cleanliness
Follow all work order and process traveler requirements and fill out job sheets or record time using ERP system
Report all machine, crane and hoist problems in the proper maintenance logs and notify Maintenance Department and/or lead hand/supervisor of a down time situation
Ensure processes and testing operations are performed in accordance with safety regulations and are carried out in a conscientious manner
Perform other duties assigned by Lead Hand/Supervisor
High school diploma with a mechanical aptitude
Related assembly, testing and painting experience an asset
Mechanical assembly/repair experience an asset
Read and understand engineering drawings, technical documents and flow diagrams an asset
Forklift experience an asset
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Detail oriented and a strong work ethic
Good communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and organizational skills
Selfmotivated and ability to prioritize
Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced, team environment
