Our site has the capacity to meet more than 1⁄3 of global demand for paclitaxel and docetaxel, commonly used active pharmaceutical ingredients (API's) in chemotherapy medications.

Phyton Biotech is adding to its Logistics Department.

This team provides timely, effective, and accurate inventory management, including raw material receiving & staging, waste disposal, and sales order shipment to support GMP-compliant production activities.

Phyton Biotech determines an individual's pay based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization.

The compensation range for this role is $47,300 - $55,000.

A day in the department would include:

• Perform a variety of inventory management tasks and electronic system transactions in a regulated environment, according to GMP and Phyton procedural requirements.
• Maintain raw material inventory receipts, shipping documentation and logbooks to receive materials into Phyton's inventory management system.
• Perform detailed inspection, label, and quarantine raw materials.
• Stage released raw materials and solvents according to production schedule.
• Maintaining integrity of quarantined and released inventory through accurate daily staging, and cycle counts.
• Track waste inventory, and coordinate disposal based on storage capacity.
• Package and complete shipping documentation for Sales Orders, based on customer requirements.
• Use pumps and carboys to perform chemical transfers. Disassemble and clean empty containers and other equipment for reuse.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 12 years of logistics and/or material handling experience within a warehouse or manufacturing plant setting
• Knowledge of inventory management or ERP systems
• Certifications in handling and transportation of dangerous goods are an asset
• Forklift certification an asset
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 kg without mechanical assistance
