You are a seasoned trades professional that is well-versed in running day to day operations of multiple crews and sites.

Your combination of trades experience and familiarity with administrative processes has educated you on best-in-class site management practices, and you're comfortable working with and managing multiple crews and sites and communicating with all layers of the organization.

You will work closely with the Regional Manager to manage and optimize the daily operations of Unbuilders' Victoria and Vancouver Island region.

• Advising management when aware of contraventions of Health and Safety policies

• Oversee site operations, manage and support site staff
• Monitor project performance and provide regular feedback to the management team
• Play a key role in the hiring, training, and performance management of onsite staff
• Active participation in daily and weekly operations meetings
• Communicate operations schedule (both daily and monthly) to site staff and management
• Support in quality control and efficiency processes and improvements across operations
• Coordinate with partner companies for delivery of salvage material from site
• Collaborate with Safety Manager to ensure occupational health and safety policies and procedures are being adhered to and enforced
• Work closely with Project Management and the Regional Manager to setup sites ahead of crew mobilization

• 5+ years of onsite construction experience
• 1+ years of site management or organizational leadership experience
• 1+ years of Chain Saw experience
• 1+ Machinery experience (BobCat, Forklift, Zoom Boom, Excavator)
• 2+ years reading blueprints, plans, etc.
• 3+ years of Demolition experience

• Victoria, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

• Reading plans, blueprints: 1 year (preferred)
• Demolition: 3 years (preferred)
• Machine (bobcats, forklift, excavator, zoom boom): 1 year (preferred)
• Construction: 5 years (preferred)

• Driving Licence (preferred)
