Do you have a passion for helping mature seniors with memory challenges? As manager of our Memory Care community, your empathy and compassion for adults living with Alzheimer's or dementia helps Residents lead more fulfilling lives and gives their families peace of mind.


What you'll do:
- attract, retain, and develop Universal Care Providers and Personal Support Workers for this community within our Delmanor Elgin Mills location.
- provide health updates to Residents and their families
- ensure Infection Control and all other Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed
- manage the process for providing nourishing meals
- meet budgetary requirements
- promote the MemoryPlus neighbourhood to community partners, stakeholders and prospective Residents and families


What you bring:

  • Licensed with the Ontario College of Nurses to practice as a Registered Practical Nurse with no restrictions
  • A minimum of 2 years' management experience in a dementia care settingP.I.E.C.E.S, Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) or Montessori Methods certificate preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Topnotch judgement and problemsolving skills
  • CPR and First Aid certification are required
